After the NY 1/2 I felt a little something but didn't pay much attention to it. Last Tuesday did a treadmill run, felt good until around mile 6 and then the pain just came out of nowhere . I'm much better now (Ice and self massage) but wont be doing NYRR Gridiron Classic this weekend.

oh no ---sorry to hear that you have achilles pain. you are smart to nip it in the bud and rest now. It will get better sooner -calf stretches are important, but to the point that you feel pain in the achilles!! ice, and reduced mileage...The hills of the 1/2 may have aggrevated it...!
